SANA TAKEDA is an illustrator and comic book artist from Japan, known as the artist on the smash-hit Image series, Monstress. The popular and acclaimed fantasy epic, written by Marjorie Liu, won multiple awards in 2018, including 5 Eisner Awards. Featuring incredibly detailed cover and interior art work, Sana won 2 Eisner Awards for Monstress in 2018, Best Painter/Multimedia Artist and Best Cover Artist. Her art is loved by people for subtleties unique to her. At age 20 Takeda started working as a 3D CGI designer for Japanese video game company, SEGA. Her comic book career includes work for Image Comics, Aspen, and Boom Studios, amongst others. After working on several titles for Marvel, including X-Men, Venom, Civil War II, and Ms Marvel, she started to work with Marjorie Liu as the creative team on X-23, which won the pair wide fan acclaim. In 2013 the two paired up again to work on the creator-owned Monstress series for Image Comics. An unprecedented success, the first trade paperback collection of Monstress became the best-selling graphic novel on Amazon in 2016. Sana is currently working on the latest issue of Monstress as well as upcoming covers for Marvel and DC Comics. Sana Takeda lives in Tokyo, Japan.


ANI-MIA has been cosplaying since 2008 but has been a geek since birth. Her love for video games, comic books and anime are reflected in her wide variety of cosplay costumes. She has been a Cosplay Guest at over 150 conventions across the globe as well as judged championship cosplay contests, appeared in both online and print magazines as well as television appearances. She’s also the Cosplay Writer for Otaku USA Magazine, the premiere print magazine about anime and manga in the United States, and the official video host for PreviewsWorld, the online version of the comic shop’s monthly catalog for consumers and retailers. She has also been featured on the cover of Vampirella and Archie Comics. The one thing she really wants to do is help bring the community together as a whole to encourage each other as well as help others; and she has spearheaded numerous philanthropic events annually to help do this. Ani-Mia lives in Virginia, USA. 


BILL MASUKU, Zimbabwean comic book writer and artist, has been self-publishing comics since 2016, most notably Razor-Man and Captain South Africa. His work is greatly inspired by shonen anime, manga, comic books and film. His comic Razor-Man has been featured in both volumes of the Kugali Anthology, a collection of African comic books from across the continent. He is very passionate about skills and youth development, running art workshops at the Harare International Festival of Arts and assisting in a game development workshop conducted by Leti Arts. Under the publisher Sera Blue he has been contracted for his writing to develop an urban fantasy novel as well as a graphic novel slated for release in 2019. He has also appeared as a guest and panelist at several regional conventions, including Comic Con Africa 2018. Bill Masuku lives in Harare, Zimbabwe. 


JASON MASTERS began his career in commercial advertising and went on to work as a professional comic book artist for DC, Marvel, and Dynamite Comics. Masters' early work includes Human Target and Red, a comic series penned by Warren Ellis, for DC imprint, Wildstorm Studios. He went on to work on various Batman titles, including Legends of the Dark Knight, Batman Incorporated, Batwoman, and Nightwing. For Marvel he worked on Guardians of the Galaxy, Wolverine, and X-Men. His biggest gig arrived in 2015, when he was handpicked by comics legend, Warrren Ellis, to handle the artwork as ongoing series artist on Dynamite's high-profile relaunch of the James Bond comic book, the first all-new 007 comic series in over 20 years. The series, under the helm of Ellis and Masters, has received popular and critical acclaim and is one of Dynamite Comics bestselling series. His latest comic, Caster, stars Common, actor, film producer, poet and American hip hop recording artist. Caster features an original soundtrack by Common and Grammy award winning musician and composer Robert Glasper, with artwork provided by Masters. It is available now on the Line Webtoon app and can be read online here
Jason Masters lives in Johannesburg, SA.  


SEAN IZAAKSE has been working as a freelance illustrator and comic artist for the last 8 years. An artist on the Pathfinder comics for Dynamite Entertainment, he has contributed artwork to various RPG's like Mutants & Masterminds by Green Ronin Publishing. He has contributed creator-owned work to local publications, Insurrection Studio's Clockworx comic and was featured in the Comic Brew Outline comic, as well as work for companies doing corporate comics. Izaakse is the artist and co-creator, along with writer Vito Delsante, of the creator-owned series Stray from  Action Lab Entertainment. Izaakse has recently added MARVEL COMICS to his list of work, including books like Thunderbolts, Avengers, Deadpool and recently finished a run on Champions. He is currently working on the Avengers No Road Home event, to be released in February. In his free time he roleplays with friends, watches way too many movies and fills his instagram with pictures of his dog. Sean Izaakse lives in Johannesburg, SA.
